About

ServicesRevenue supports senior sales and marketing professionals' decisions by publishing premium content and organizing discussion and learning events.

ServicesRevenue was founded by Sid Hanna Saleh in early 2000 in Boulder, Colorado. In 1999, a services marketing manager complained to Sid that she was getting less than half as much budget as her products counterparts. She asked Sid if he could provide articles or research to support her request for more budget. A search only yielded a handful of articles; most of which were dated or remotely relevant to her situation.

This experience and others like it convinced Sid of the lack of useful content and networking opportunities for the services sales and marketing community. Aside from a limited number of academic journals, publications offering consistent, quality content on services marketing and selling were hard to find. In May 2002, the inaugural issue of Services Revenue newsletter was released online and in print.

ServicesRevenue distributes its content through various industry associations such as the Association For Services Management International, the Association of Support Professionals, Service Industry Association and others. In April 2003, ServicesRevenue signed a worldwide licensing agreement with EBSCO Publishing to distribute full-text articles of ServicesRevenue Newsletter to roughly 50,000 libraries that use EBSCO's database products.
